The Beitar Jerusalem football club has a long tradition, a huge base of devoted fans and a major influence on politics. It is said that anyone who does not speak to the crowd of 20,000 at Teddy Stadium has no chance of becoming mayor. For this reason, the club was bought by Israeli-Russian businessman Arcadi Gaydamak. He lost the elections to the council, but managed to open up a Pandora's box when he bought two Chechen Muslim players for Beitar. The film maker penetrates into the closed world of professional football and captures the conflict between the right-wing fan organisation La Familia, who boast of being the only club in Israel that has never had a Muslim player, and the "traitors". This is a thrilling and multi-layered drama about how racism can corrode society from within.
