Robert Edwin Peary's grandson follows the footsteps of his grandfather, the American polar explorer and probably the first man to reach the North Pole (1909) and also the footsteps of Minik, a small Inuit boy. Minik and other five Inuit men were taken to New York for the purpose of scientific research. The remaining five soon became ill and died. Minik was the only survivor, but he was never happy in America.
