Shot on location in Italy, the film features Jonas’ critically acclaimed Puccini concert from La Scala, Milan and includes all of Puccini’s most loved tenor arias including ‘Nessun dorma’.

The cameras also go behind the scenes and follow Jonas around Milan as he talks about what it takes to be the world’s greatest tenor and why Puccini’s music is so special to him.

On the 14th June 2015 German tenor Jonas Kaufmann walked onto the stage of La Scala Milan, the home of Italian opera, for one of the most highly anticipated performances of the year. The concert made national news in Italy and following five encores and 40mins of applause audiences were still left wanting more.

This legendary performance is now the focus of a new concert film directed by Brian Large and produced by Arts Alliance.
