Icelandic musician and former member of the GusGus band Högni Egilsson and film producer Anna T. Edwards both have bipolar syndrome. During a non-traditional concert tour in Nepal, they try to raise awareness about the importance of mental health.

Both protagonists agree: “Without help we’d long be dead.” Great prejudice against mental illness still exists in both Nepal and Iceland. In both countries the social stigma faced by patients and their families leads to many needless deaths of people afraid to seek help. Anna grew up in Nepal and after many years returns to the country with musician Högni hoping to use their concert tour to remove the taboo linked to their illness. This musical road movie with elephants is a poetic study of the souls of two friends who have bipolar syndrome and want to do everything possible to ensure that people with mental illness do not feel ostracised by society.
