It is 1961 and 28-year-old Justo Gallego decides to build a cathedral in a small town on the outskirts of Madrid. He spends the next 60 years of his life devoting all his time and energy to its construction. While everyone thinks he is crazy, Justo turns this eccentric idea into reality and builds a cathedral as big as the Sagrada Família with his own hands. With no architectural training whatsoever, he makes history in Spain, where a grandiose structure made of recycled materials stands. Visually arresting and highly rewarding for the viewer, this documentary uses a wealth of archival material to vividly capture a story of endless will and determination.
