Nothing like a good adventure! In Dungeons & Dragons. Fantastic monster-filled worlds, magic, humour and, above all, a quirky bunch of heroes you can't help but love await.

The wandering singer or bard Edgin (Chris Pine) makes his living by helping his band of thieves change the owners of rare artifacts (one gets stolen and the other gets sold). It's a job where you're practically constantly putting your head in a noose, and even Edgin can't keep his luck up forever. When he manages to steal something that should never have fallen into the wrong hands, and he also puts it into those hands willingly, it sets off a domino effect that can shake the whole world. Edgin may be a bit of a scumbag, but he still has a bit of honor in him, so he decides to make amends. However, with an army of ruthless killers, powerful wizards and his former friend Forge Fletcher (Hugh Grant) standing against him, he needs a team with which he can have even a slight chance of standing up to the task. And since the film is based on the legendary Dragon's Den, it's clear that his crew can't include a badass warrior (Michelle Rodriguez), a noble knight (Regé-Jean Page), a mage (Justice Smith) or a druid (Sophia Lillis).
